Ryan Reynolds and Bradley Cooper to Star in Buddy Cop Comedy about Unusually Hunky Cops

Dudes with very meticulous skin care regimens Ryan Reynolds and Bradley Cooper just signed up for an untitled action-comedy written by Sheldon Turner, who penned the hilarious “Up In the Air.”

What to expect?

The story follows two friends, who are also San Francisco cops, whose fathers were once partners on the police force. The older generation is forced out of retirement to help their sons crack a case, with typically antagonistic results.

The actioner is meant to have an updated “Lethal Weapon” flavor that plays into edgier R-rated territory.

B Coops is also shooting The Hangover 2 for next May, while Reynolds will be wearing laytex in Green Lantern next June. [via]
