Danny McBride and James Franco Get Medieval in Your Highness

What do you get when you take the team behind Pineapple Express and send them back to the era of lords and ladies? You get Your Highness, a new movie starring Danny McBride, James Franco, Zooey Dechanel and Natalie Portman, written by McBride and Ben Best (The Foot Fist Way, Eastbound and Down) and directed by David Gordon Green (Pineapple Express, Eastbound and Down).

Hitfix recently visited the set of the film in Ireland and came back with the first shots and details from the movie:

What makes the film such a fascinating challenge is that it's not a spoof. It's not a parody. It's not even overtly a comedy. Danny talked about how the studio's marketing department had decided from day one to sell the film with an emphasis on the action and the fantasy, and then just punctuate it with the humor

Even though they're claiming to focus on the action, I'm still rather skeptical on this (though I never say no to Natalie Portman). It just feels too much like a cross between a Knight's Tale and Black Knight.
