Andy Richter Tells the Real Story of Conan Going to TBS

Andy Richter’s account of Conan going to TBS in this month’s GQ is quite a bit different than Bill Carter’s, but I mean, who are you going to believe? Andy was there, man. Here’s how it starts:

The springtime sun was shining when I entered the room, and Conan was standing by the window in his study, surveying his vast ostrich ranch in the rugged hills of El Segundo. You don’t have to do this anymore! It couldn’t have worked out better!”
