Letterman Says He'll Only Do the Late Show for Two More Years

Last night, Howard Stern was on Letterman, where he decided to make Dave (and Paul) talk about their battle with Leno. CBS conveniently ends this clip before he gets there, but Dave ends up telling him that he'll only do the show for two more years. Could it be true? Who would take over Dave's hosting duties? I always kind of assumed Dave would be there forever.

According to "The War For Late Night," it's in Craig Ferguson's contract that he will take over whenever Letterman stops doing "The Late Show."

Dude, what would Craig Ferguson even do with an actual budget? I don't think he knows.

Thank the stars above. He used to be funny. Now he's just a crotchety old man.

Howard was on the air this morning saying Rob Burnett had to put out a relase saying Dave wasn't serious. Howard said David didn't know for sure. This is pure stupid speculation, look at how Leno changed his mind, Oprah too. Noones retired until they retire. Simple as that.
