Jay Baruchel Gets His Hands Bloody With Two New Horror Projects

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jay Baruchel signed on to write two new screenplays with writing partner Jesse Chabot: Random Acts of Violence, based on Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Gray's fictional-slasher-come-to-life comic book, and Exorcism Diaries, based on The Real Story Behind The Exorcist by Mark Opsasnick. Don't worry; Jay will still be acting in David Cronenberg's Cosmopolis, so he's not just switching careers because we didn't see She's Out Of My League.

You should have seen She's Out of My League, it's fairly cute with a few redeeming qualities. Though, I'll see anything with Jay Baruchel's name attached to it, so don't take my word too seriously :P
