Ricky Gervais Stands Behind The Onion, Several Feet Away From Strangers on the Subway

Move over, Mark Mahoney of the Post-Star and Joseph Rago of the Wall Street Journal, Ricky Gervais is in a dimly-lit room with a clipboard and he has something to say about The Onion’s Pulitzer Prize campaign. Because, really, how else would America know about the bear rapes that affect one(s) of Americans every year, if not for their diligent reporting? Were it not for The Onion, the public might never learn how bone-chillingly scary it is to be spoken to while riding mass transit. And what, if anything, would Gervais get to do with that clipboard, if it weren’t for them? The questions are virtually unanswerable.
