Colbert Report/Portlandia's Allison Silverman Heads to The Office

Allison Silverman, the first head writer and an executive producer for The Colbert Report and a current producer/writer for Portlandia has a new gig: as a producer/writer at The Office. She's prepping the move out west now, and will be on board for the upcoming season. Awesome!

    IMO, it's the opposite of awesome that a great writer is leaving one of the best new comedies on TV for a show that needs to be put out of its misery.

      @Pablo Goldstein I doubt she's "leaving" Portlandia. They'll be finished with production of season 2 soon, as Fred needs to be back in NYC for SNL next month.
