Seth Meyers rolled by The Colbert Report last night and Colbert cut right to the bone! No pussyfooting around. He asked straight-up if Seth feels any remorse for young people's reliance on Weekend Update's "fake news," rather than "mainstream straight news options" like The Colbert Report. Colbert went on to wonder aloud – just speculating, of course – why he's never been asked to host SNL. He's right that the two shows really don't cross paths that much, so the idea of Colbert as a host sounds incredibly fun but also a tiny bit strange. Like eating pop rocks or sitting in a deep-tissue massage chair.
