Fox Buys an Ellen DeGeneres Produced Sitcom Based On the Web Series 'Couple Time'

Couple Time is web series by UCB performers Allyn Rachel and Patrick Carlyle that aspires to capture the "weird stuff couples do when no one else is around," like make crow noises (as seen above) or talk about "Splices" (as seen below). With the help of Ellen DeGeneres, Fox has ordered a pilot script based on the series. Described as a modern-day Mad About You of sorts, the best part of the series, and hopefully the show, is the fact that the couple actually seems to like each other, not like many contemporary sitcom couples that are written to be sworn enemies. Now watch them talk about Splice for two minutes, you know, like couples do when they're alone.
