    That was a fun episode, but those young puppies…
    Yeah, we didn't have the internet, but we had TV Guide. As they mentioned, there were only three networks and we didn't have anything better to do than watch TV. We had all seen the promo for this movie a dozen times. We knew it was a Dan Curtis production, and he was HUGE because Dark Shadows was a phenomena. We also knew Richard Matheson as one of the scariest writers on TV.

    The ABC Movies of the Week were well respected. (Duel, by Steven Spielberg. Remember that?)

    We knew what to look for. The first rerun of the movie got even bigger ratings.
