'Sons of Anarchy's' Kurt Sutter Sells a Totally Insane-Sounding Sitcom to FX

FX's Sons of Anarchy isn't really a comedy. It's got its funny moments, sure, but the biker-based drama is more dark than hilarious. That'll change with creator Kurt Sutter's next potential series for FX, Diva. Clown. Killer. He just made a deal to write a pilot script for the network, and it sounds…crazy. It's described as "a dark, absurd comedy about an 80′s has-been rock diva, her dysfunctional son who makes his living as kid’s party clown, and of course, an assassin." He's looking to snag Sons of Anarchy/Married with Children's Katy Segal for the lead role. And then presumably there'd be a Modern Family/Diva. Clown. Killer. crossover episode with Al and Peg reunited and all will be right with the world.
