America Continues to Love 'Big Bang Theory' and 'Two and a Half Men' More than You Do

Last night's Nielsen ratings are in, everyone! As per usual, CBS's twin tri-camera titans The Big Bang Theory and Two and a Half Men bested the rest of everything on television when it comes to those silly, inaccurate, outmoded Nielsen numbers. In the 8pm slot, Big Bang scored a 4.2 rating and 13.8 million viewers overall, running laps around 30 Rock, which got a 1.4 and 3.8 million. At 8:30, Two and a Half Men got a 3.4 rating and 11.2 million viewers, leaving Up All Night in the dust with a 1.2 and 3.5 mil. The Office and Parks and Rec, along with all of the Big Four networks' shows in the 9pm hour, were pre-empted in favor of a some sort of political event.

Big Bang Theory is a funny show. We know that Splitsider can't fathom how people can watch CBS, but ya, even comedy fans do.

TBBT is completely and utterly unwatchable, and has been for a while. First two seasons were fine and often funny, but then it began to get stale. Bringing the girl trio forward ruined what little was left.
