Tina Fey and Amy Poehler to Co-Host the Golden Globes (and Hopefully All Awards Shows Ever)

Every year, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler make for some of the funniest moments at the Emmys and the Golden Globes, and now, the Golden Globes are finally letting them host. Fey and Poehler first met in improv classes in Chicago in the early 90s and played on an iO Mainstage team called Inside Vladimir (which was named after a gay porn video) together. Since then, Fey and Poehler each went on to dominate Saturday Night Live, star in movies like Baby Mama and Mean Girls together, and to score their own critically-acclaimed NBC Thursday night sitcoms, 30 Rock and Parks and Rec, respectively. The Golden Globes have been hosted by Ricky Gervais the past three years, and we'll have to wait until January 13th, 2013, for Poehler and Fey's hosting stint. It'll be totally worth it, though, as Tina Fey and Amy Poehler's bits at other awards show are always amongst the night's highlights. Just imagine what they'll do given an entire three-hour ceremony. With any luck, Fey and Poehler will get to host all awards shows after this.

Here's a collection of some of Tina Fey and Amy Poehler's best awards show bits:
