Conan O'Brien's production company Conaco just sold a pilot to ABC, based on the Kindle digital book Keep Swinging by Rick Marin. Deadline reports that this is the first time the movie/TV industry has optioned a Kindle Single since Amazon created Kindle Singles. The show will be based around an artsy father who, with his wife, is having trouble raising his sports-loving kid. Everybody Loves Raymond and Men of a Certain Age writer Lew Schneider will write the script to the show. So, drop those screenplays, aspiring writers and start authoring your own Kindle book! This is the future!
