Will Ferrell, Allison Brie, Nick Offerman, and Liam Neeson Are Doing Voices for a Lego Movie
Four of your favorite actors, Will Ferrell, Allison Brie, Nick Offerman, and Liam Neeson all just joined the voice cast of Lego: The Piece of Resistance, Variety reports. It was previously announced that the film, a 3D animated movie based on the popular toy blocks, also features the voice talents of Chris Pratt, Will Arnett, Elizabeth Banks, and Morgan Freeman, making for quite an eclectic and exciting cast. The movie’s being directed by Phil Lord & Chris Miller (21 Jump Street, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs) and follows an ordinary Lego dude named Emmett (voiced by Pratt) who everyone mistakenly thinks is the key to saving the world. Ferrell plays the villain President Business, Brie plays a member of Pratt’s team with a big secret, Neeson plays the president’s henchman called Bad Cop, and Offerman will play “a craggy, swaggering pirate obsessed with revenge.” This could end up great because there’s no role better suited for Nick Offerman than a craggy, swaggering pirate obsessed with revenge (save for Ron Swanson, of course).
