Living Comedy Legends Albert Brooks and David Letterman Have a Chat

Albert Brooks, who's promoting his Oscar buzz-generating role in Judd Apatow's This Is 40, sat down with David Letterman last night. Here's the interview (part two is after the jump), which is a reminder that Albert Brooks should be in the Talk Show Guest Hall of Fame. Also included after the jump is Brooks's first-ever Letterman appearance, from 1983. Enjoy!:

Without looking, I'm guessing Alec Baldwin is going to be on in a couple of weeks, and will happily respond to this trolling.

Albert Brooks is on my short list of "Old Man Celebrities I Wish Were My Dad." Also included on the list are Tom Hanks, Steve Martin, and Ted Danson.

Did you notice Brooks' odd tic? Kind of jaw-jutting movement? I was wondering if he's got mild Parkinson's or something.
