Watch the Trailer for 'Kick-Ass 2'

Here's the brand new red band trailer for Kick-Ass 2, the sequel to the 2010 superhero comedy Kick-Ass. The original's stars Aaron Johnson, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, and Chloë Moretz are returning, with Jim Carrey joining them for this installment as a military-themed superhero called Colonel Stars and Stripes. This will likely be the only movie trailer you see this year in which a teenage girl uses the word "cocksucker."

    Meh.

    'Kick-Ass' had its moments, but overall I thought it was very overrated and mostly stupid – especially because in its second-half, it became the very type of story that its first-half had set out to send up.

    I love how Kick-Ass 2 has two songs from Sleigh Bells in the trailer, "Infinity Guitars" and "Crush" were also great choices since it was one song from their first album and one from their second. I loved the first movie, but it is kinda weird to see the girl being almost grown up now…and Jim Carrey I assume will either be awesome or terrible, with almost zero chance for it being middle ground. I think based on the trailer, there's a better chance of awesome.
