'The Eric Andre Show' Gets a Season 2

Eric Andre's absurd Adult Swim anti-talk show is getting another season. Accompanied by his bored co-host Hannibal Buress, each episode of The Eric Andre Show finds the comedian playing host to a chaotic, nightmarish talk show with a mix of real and fake guests and hidden camera pranks. The second season is set to premiere on Adult Swim this October. Earlier this season, Andre played a supporting role on ABC's now-canceled Don't Trust the B—-. He recently starred in a Greg Daniels-produced sitcom pilot for NBC. Following a group of 20somethings and their dating lives in a big city, the show is in contention for a spot on the network's fall lineup, and NBC will be very concerned about his Adult Swim show just like ABC was when he worked for them.

Super good news, though I take this to mean we gotta wait till October to get season 1 on DVD. Worth the wait, though.

where did you hear that its coming out in October?

      • Jimmy Callaway

I didn't, I was just assuming since it seems shows will release the previous season on DVD once the latest season is set to premiere, i.e. Veep this year.

oh yeah, that makes sense, I really hope [adult swim] will get this to us soon, so many other shows they skipped out on…
