Ken Marino and Erica Oyama Hired to Write the College Comedy 'True Freshman'

Husband and wife screenwriting team Ken Marino and Erica Oyama are writing a college comedy together. Deadline reports that they've been hired to write the studio comedy True Freshman, about "a team of underdogs attempt to restore athletics to their long past position of greatness at a snooty Ivy League school." The movie has been described as being in the same vein as Animal House and Revenge of the Nerds. Marino and Oyama have previously collaborated on episodes of Adult Swim's Childrens Hospital, on which Marino also stars, and on the Yahoo! web series Burning Love. They were hired last month to adapt Go the Fuck to Sleep, a childrens' book for adults, into a movie. There hasn't really been an attempt at a big college comedy in a while, so it should be interesting to see how this one shapes up.

I assume if they are allowed, this will be the funniest movie, as Burning Love was completely hilarious.
