Guillermo del Toro Made the Couch Gag for This Year’s ‘Simpsons’ Treehouse of Horror
Pacific Rim and Hellboy filmmaker Guillermo del Toro will be taking the reins of part of The Simpsons‘ opening credits for the show’s Halloween episode this year, Fox announced yesterday. The show’s 24th annual “Treehouse of Horror” episode will feature a couch gag created by del Toro that involves monsters from classic horror films from the past several decades. Bill Plympton, John Kricfalusi, and Banksy have all created a couch gag to the show in the past.
