Comedy Central Orders Victorian-Era Pilot Created by and Starring Natasha Leggero

It's a good week for new Comedy Central shows, especially now with the news of their most recent pilot order from Ben Stiller's production company Red Hour created by and starring Burning Love staple and Tubbin' with Tash star Natasha Leggero. According to Deadline, Leggero will star with Garfunkel and Oates' Riki Lindhome in the Victorian-era reality show spoof Another Period that "follows the misadventures of Newport’s first family, The Bellacourts, a family with nothing to offer the world, but who have so much money that it doesn’t matter. The show centers around the oldest Bellacourt sisters, Lillian (Leggero) and Beatrice (Lindhome), who care only about how they look, what parties they are invited to and becoming famous, which is a lot harder in 1902."

Leggero and Lindhome will serve as executive producers on the project alongside Stiller and Drunk History co-creator Jeremy Konner, who is attached to direct. In addition to Another Period, Comedy Central has also ordered a one-hour standup special from Leggero, which will shoot in April at the Wilbur in Boston.
