Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld's "Mysterious Project" Is a Broadway Play

During his Reddit AMA last week, Jerry Seinfeld hinted at an upcoming collaboration with Larry David. "We wrote this script for this thing that you will eventually see but I can't reveal what it is at this time," he said. "All I can do is tell you that it's big, huge, gigantic." While details on the project are still slim, Showbiz411 spoke to David about the collaboration and he had this to say:

Larry told me: “I’ve written a play.” A play? For, like, Broadway? “Yes.” And Jerry would star in it? “Maybe. We’re talking about it.”

Seinfeld's worked on Broadway both onstage and behind the scenes; he produced and directed Colin Quinn's 2010 one-man show Long Story Short and starred in Jerry Seinfeld: Live on Broadway in 1998. It's not clear whether David wants Seinfeld to star in the play or work as its producer or director, but considering it's reportedly "the number 1 project on [David's] plate," we'll probably find out more soon.
