Fox Is Developing an Animated Comedy About a Stay at Home Sorcerer Dad

Fox is continuing to look for a new animated show to add to its Sunday night lineup, and they're developing a family fantasy comedy to potentially fill that spot. Deadline reports that the network is developing a new show called Dark Lord Of Delaware that was created by Alan Schoolcraft and Brent Simon, who wrote the animated family movie Megamind.

The comedy follows Zarbus, an evil Voldemort-esque sorcerer who loses his job and is banished from his magical kingdom to suburbia where he is a stay at home dad. This is the second animated comedy with a fantasy element that Fox is developing after the Zooey Deschanel-produced fairytale sitcom Queen of Everything, which was announced earlier this month.
