'Key & Peele's Fourth Season Expanded to 22 Episodes and Animated Spinoff Is Moving Forward

Key and Peele's upcoming season is getting expanded to more episodes and moving forward with a possible spinoff. According to THR, Comedy Central has confirmed that the show's fourth season will be 22 episodes long and include two best-of episodes. This will make Key and Peele's longest season order yet compared to the last three seasons (8, 10, and 13, respectively).

In other Key and Peele updates, Comedy Central has also confirmed news of the animated Vandaveon and Mike spinoff series Peele mentioned to TV Line back in the summer, which the network is currently developing with the duo. The series follows the main characters as 12-year-old middle school hall monitors, with Rodney Barnes (Everybody Loves Raymond, Boondocks) producing alongside Joel Zadak, Allen Fischer, and Brian Dobbins.
