Joel McKinnon Miller and Dirk Blocker Promoted to Regulars for Season 2 of ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’
Fox’s Andy Samberg-led sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine wrapped up its first season last week, and the show is expanding its cast for season two. Joel McKinnon Miller and Dirk Blocker, who play veteran detectives Scully and Hitchcock respectively, have been promoted to series regulars for the second season, Deadline reports. The two actors had recurring roles in the first season, both appearing in every episode but they weren’t officially credited with the rest of the regular cast. Winner of two Golden Globes already in its short time on the air, Brooklyn Nine-Nine received an early second season renewal last month.
