Gillian Jacobs to Play a Recurring Role on ‘Girls’ This Season
Community was canceled earlier this month, but star Gillian Jacobs has already lined up her next TV job. Jacobs will play a recurring role on the upcoming fourth season of HBO’s Girls, TV Line reports. Her character is named Mimi-Rose Howard, and she makes her first appearance in the fifth episode (called “Mimi-Rose”) of the 10-episode season, which is set to premiere in 2015. Jacobs is the second Community to star to appear on Girls following Donald Glover’s two-episode stint on the show in season two, and she’s the first Community star to line up a new gig following that show’s demise.
