jon-hamm-bridesmaidsAlmost six months after Richard Linklater officially signed on to direct the Incredible Mr. Limpet remake, The Wrap reports that a bunch of comedy stars are currently in talks to join the cast alongside Zach Galifianakis, who is expected to play the titular role. Jon Hamm, Danny McBride, Sarah Silverman, Kevin Hart, Josh Gad, Keegan-Michael Key, and Jordan Peele are all reportedly being considered for roles, with Hamm as the human villain, McBride and Silverman in live-action roles, and Hart, Key, and Peele voicing animated sea creatures. The Wrap notes that production on the Limpet remake could begin as early as the fall, though live-action scenes will most likely not begin shooting until early next year.
