‘The Nightly Show’s Second Episode Tackles the Bill Cosby Rape Allegations

Larry Wilmore wasn’t joking when he said that The Nightly Show would tackle controversial topics “without a net” considering last night’s episode was entirely devoted to the growing list of rape allegations against Bill Cosby. Here’s a clip of Wilmore debating the Cosby allegations with panelists Jamilah Lemieux, Kathleen Madigan, Baratunde Thurston, and Keith Robinson, in which Wilmore gets to the heart of the issue: “People are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. However, this is the court of public opinion, and this is my show, and that fucker did it.” Also: “The proof is common sense, for Christ’s sake. We don’t have to turn off our brain just because the law says we’re not supposed to make assumptions.
