Showtime Orders a Semi-Autobiographical Comedy Starring Andrew Dice Clay
The Diceman is headed to TV. According to The Wrap, Showtime has ordered a six-episode single-cam comedy starring Andrew Dice Clay called Dice, which will follow “semi-true accounts of Dice’s efforts to revive his career and support his family” in Las Vegas. “Love him or hate him, Dice is a true original and Dice is always funny,” Showtime exec Gary Levine said on the news. “After a career full of ups and downs, he’s hotter today than ever.” Old School and The Hangover Part II‘s Scot Armstrong created and wrote the series, which will premiere on Showtime sometime next year.
