CBS has announced the lineup for David Letterman’s last week of shows, and it’s going to feature some of his old friends, including his very first late night guest and one of his very favorites, Bill Murray.
On Monday, Tom Hanks will make his 60th appearance on a Letterman-hosted show, after first appearing on NBC’s Late Night in 1984. He’ll be joined by Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder, who will perform, backed by Paul Shaffer.

On Tuesday, Letterman’s first Late Night guest Bill Murray will make his 44th appearance on a Letterman-hosted show.

CBS did not list any guests for Letterman’s final show on Wednesday, but describes it as “an hour filled with surprises.”

Who will show up for his final show? It’s anyone’s guess, but it should be a show worth watching in any case.
