Desi Lydic and Hasan Minhaj Sell Some Priceless Stolen Antiquities on ‘The Daily Show’

Here’s a clip from last night’s Daily Show, where Trevor Noah explains how ISIS continues to sack temples and steal priceless artifacts — but instead of destroying them, the terrorist group has made a ton of money by selling the stolen antiquities on the black market, which mostly ends up in the hands of US art dealers. To illustrate, Noah introduces new correspondent Desi Lydic, who joins Hasan Minhaj in a chipper QVC-style show to explain how these antiquities are priced so low that it’s a deal American art dealers can’t not afford.
