The Classic Films of Albert Brooks Are Available on Netflix Tomorrow

Great news for Albert Brooks fans, because starting tomorrow, Netflix will make all of the classic films he wrote and directed available for subscribers: Real Life (1979), Modern Romance (1981), Lost in America (1985), Defending Your Life (1991), Mother (1996), The Muse (1999), and Looking for Comedy in the Muslim World (2005). Brooks made the announcement in a video for Netflix today, which you can check out above. “For the longest time, Netflix did not choose to run my movies. People say ‘What changed?’ I am not advocating kidnapping in any situation. It is a federal crime, and if caught you will go to prison. But in this case, picking the right child from the right executive had a very good result.”
