Here’s the First Trailer for Woody Allen’s Amazon Series, ‘Crisis In Six Scenes’

Woody Allen’s latest project, an episodic series exclusively available on Amazon Prime, premieres September 30 as part of the digital network’s first ever self-proclaimed “month of comedy.”

“[A] comedy that takes place in the 1960s during turbulent times in the United States when a middle class suburban family is visited by a guest who turns their household completely upside down,” Crisis In Six Scenes boasts a pretty diverse cast that includes former teen queen Miley Cyrus and comedy legend Elaine May alongside writer/director Allen.

Amazon released the briefest of clips in anticipation of the series’ upcoming premiere, giving us very little beyond the reassurance that Crisis will contain plenty of Allen’s trademark self-deprecating humor (not surprising, given his recent declaration to the LA Times that the show is both a “catastrophic mistake” and a “cosmic embarrassment.” Can’t wait!)
