Pete Holmes Offers Some Helpful Tips on How to Find Your Laugh on ‘Conan’

Here’s a clip from Pete Holmes’s appearance on last night’s Conan, where he tells O’Brien how he’s a little different from what most people expect from a comedian. “I like laughing. I’m a comedian — comedians are supposed to be jaded, cynical, angry, bitter people, but I’m not. I’m a silly silly fun boy,” he says. Holmes also explains why anyone out there who self-identifies as hard-to-laugh really should work on letting “some sunlight into your soul” and laugh more often. He even gives some handy tips on how to make yourself laugh in any situation, including this gem: “If I’m ever in a plane that’s delayed on the tarmac or stuck in traffic, I can make myself laugh just remembering that Lenny Kravitz…his name is Leonard Kravitz.”
