‘Atlanta,’ ‘Insecure,’ ‘Veep,’ and More Among 2017 Golden Globe Nominees

insecure_hboThe 2017 Golden Globe nominations were announced this morning, and this year’s TV comedy nominees are a mix of new and returning series. Donald Glover and Issa Rae’s new series Atlanta and Insecure both earned nominations this year, with Glover scoring a nom for Best Television Comedy and both earning noms in the acting categories. Atlanta and Black-ish are up for Best TV Comedy three against returning shows that were also nominated last year: Veep, Transparent, and Amazon’s Mozart in the Jungle.
