Seth Meyers Takes “A Closer Look” at the Trump Administration’s Evolving Lies and Excuses

Here’s a clip from last night’s Late Night, where Seth Meyers takes “A Closer Look” at all the lies and excuses that have come out of the Trump administration in the wake of Donald Trump Jr.’s emails. “He changed his story four times in four days. That’s like if your wife asked ‘Where were you last night?’ and you said ‘I was at work. I mean, I was working. At a coworker’s house. At a friend’s house. At a female friend’s house. In a female friend’s bed. But nothing came of it!’” Meyers also points out how the emails have particularly implicated Jared Kushner, who claims that he’s had to update his security clearance form so many times because the first one was accidentally sent before it was complete. “So he doesn’t read emails till the end and sends documents before they’re completed. He seems on top of it! At least he’s only in charge of US-China relations, US-Mexico relations, criminal justice reform, opioid crisis management, the White House Office of American Innovation, and Middle East peace.”
