Conan O’Brien and Kumail Nanjiani Review ‘Shadow of War’ for the Latest “Clueless Gamer”

Here’s a clip from last night’s Conan, where O’Brien teams up Kumail Nanjiani for the latest installment of “Clueless Gamer,” where the two play Middle-earth: Shadow of War and O’Brien discovers that the soon-to-be SNL host also has a voice role in the game. “Here’s the thing, Conan. I’m a little nervous, because they wrote funny lines for me and the lines actually are funny…” Nanjiani says once they find his character. “Oh, you’re like a comic relief character – you’re supposed to be kind of funny? That sometimes doesn’t play well in the video game community,” O’Brien responds. “That’s what I’m afraid of,” Nanjiani says. Thankfully, Nanjiani ends up bravely facing his fears, but not without plenty of teasing from O’Brien: “The nice thing is that there’s no mistaking that it’s you. Your character should be called Kumail the Nanjiani.”
