Julie Klausner Joins the Cast of NBC Pilot ‘So Close’
Rejoice, Difficult People fans, because Julie Klausner might be returning to TV soon. Deadline reports that Klausner has signed on to star alongside Sasheer Zamata and Sean Kleier in the comedy pilot So Close, which was ordered by the network in January. Produced by Sean Hayes, written by Greg Malins, and directed by Gail Mancuso, the pilot centers on “hopeless romantics Riley and Kyle who are at a crossroads in their separate lives. The two are close to settling for the wrong partner, unaware that they live only blocks apart and may be each other’s soul mates.” Klausner will play a woman who works with Zamata’s character at a law firm named Amy, who is described as “a bit of a crazy with a manic edge to her.” Sabrina Carpenter, George Basil, and Dan Bucatinsky also have joined the cast in supporting roles.
