Only two weeks after officially leaving SNL, Abby Elliott has already lined up an arc on How I Met Your Mother. She will play a quirky girl named Janeane, whose craziness proves to be overwhelmingly attractive to one of the crew. Maybe it's Ted or Barney or even Robin. Really, anything is fine, as long as it's not Lily's dad because that would be supes gross.
John Slattery! The Mad Men star will have a multiple episode arc on the new season of Arrested Development. There is no word yet on whom he'll be playing or if he'll be blind or have a law blog. The role is be described as "top-secret," which makes it even more exciting, as if it were a riddle. Maybe he'll play a top secret service agent. Or, better yet, he'll be the president of Pop Secret, the popular popcorn brand – he'll be the top of Pop Secret.
Last season ended with Victoria ditching her wedding and driving off with Ted. Well, the premiere will feature the man she was leaving at the alter, Klaus. You know, the kinda close Klaus from her class. Thomas Lennon will be playing that Klaus. The episode centers around Future Ted (aka the narrator) telling the story of the time Present Day Ted told a cold feet possessing Robin the story of when he insisted that Victoria leave Klaus a note before they drove off into the distance. Either way, for Balls of Fury fans, you'll get to relive Lennon's glorious German accent.

The Jon Hamm's John Ham prophecy has moved a step forward. Comedy's boyfriend Jon Hamm will play a toilet on the next season of Bob's Burgers. Bob's Burgers' creator Loren Bouchard explained the what and why of the cameo:
“It’s a kind of E.T. homage, but instead of an alien, it’s this high-end talking electronic toilet that falls off a truck and lands in the woods. And Gene finds it, E.T.-style. It’s kind of a love story between a boy and a toilet.”
