"What happened was, I was at the Emmys with my son, and he said, 'Oh, there’s Louis C.K. I want to meet him!' I don’t think my boy’s ever said that. He’s 25 years old and has been around all sorts of people! So I went over and introduced myself to Louis C.K., and then I got more aware of who he was and what he had done. He offered me this role, and I asked to see some of his shows. So, yeah, I got what he was doing, and if he thought I could be her and do that with him — yeah, I’m willing to give it [...]

Human golden retriever Chris Pratt is in talks to star opposite Vince Vaughn in the remake of the French-Canadian comedy Starbuck. Starbuck is about Vaughn's character learning he's fathered 533 children via sperm donation. Pratt would play Vaughn's lawyer and the father of a whole mess of kids too. Andy as a lawyer!? Crazy. Before this, Pratt is supposed to play one of the marines who killed Osama Bin Laden; though, that sounds more like a job for Bert Macklin.

- Reno 911! Star Niecy Nash will appear in an early episode of The New Girl next season as woman who steals Jess's likely ribbon and hearts covered purse. To take the shenanigan level up another notch, this twee purse thief will be a prostitute. Basically, it will be Jess's chance to meet her polar opposite. Also, Leslie Mann will appear as a shot girl in the episode where the gang celebrates the removal of Schmidt's penis cast. Lastly, the perpetually getting sitcom work David Walton will be reoccurring as Jess's definitely tall, probably boneheaded love interest.
- Michael Trucco will return next season to How I Met Your [...]

"Ned! Ryerson!" It might not be what you'll be saying but it'll definitely be what you're thinking while watching The Mindy Project this fall because Stephen Tobolowsky has been cast to play a legendary OB/GYN and head of Schulman and Associates, the practice where Mindy works. Joining him is Ike Barinholz, who is also a writer on the show, who will playing an ex-con male nurse and Amanda Setton who will be playing the office's steadfast office manager. The first clips of The Mindy Project made it seem a bit straightforward, so it's nice to see that there is silliness ahead. Better get some life insurance.

Remember when Will Arnett played the MRI giver dude on Parks & Recreation and you thought, "He and Andy should totally voice characters in a Lego movie together?" No? Just me? Well, it's happening! Chris Pratt is set to voice the lead, Dan Lego (ok, that probably won't be the characters name), in Lego: The Piece of Resistance. (Whoever thought of that name should be promoted to Head of Movies.) Arnett will provide the voice to Lego Batman, which is a real part in this movie and the part he was born to play. This ridiculous half live-action and half Lego-based animated film will be released on February [...]
