Stephen Colbert Is Giving His $700,000+ Super PAC Money to Sandy Charities

On his show last night, Stephen Colbert announced what's to become of the $773,704.83 left over from his campaign super PAC, "Americans for a Better Tomorrow, Tomorrow," which he shut down a week after the election. Colbert explained that he's not legally required to say where the money is going, but that the Ham Rove Memorial Fund, an organization that Colbert is on the board of that was founded to honor the memory of fictional fallen political strategist Ham Rove, just received an anonymous donation of $773,704.83. Jimmy Pardo's Pardcast-a-Thon Raises Over $114,000 for Smile Train

Comedian Jimmy Pardo's Pardcast-a-Thon, his fourth annual 12-hour live comedy marathon to raise money for the charity Smile Train was held this past weekend in Los Angeles, and the result was an overwhelming success. Smile Train is an organization that provides free corrective surgery for children with cleft lip and palate, and this year's Pardcast-a-Thon raised over $114,000 for the cause, more than doubling the amount collected last year. Pardo had 25 guests during the show, including Conan O'Brien, Jon Hamm, Zach Galifianakis, Sarah Silverman, Rob Corddry, Scott Aukerman, and more. 'The Chris Gethard Show' Is About to Be Homeless; Give It Shelter

Comedian Chris Gethard's delightful, zany public access show The Chris Gethard Show is about to lose its studio for two months. Beginning in December, the Manhattan Neighborhood Network's studio will be renovating, and The Gethard Show needs your help finding a new place to film for the duration. If you have a studio/warehouse/giant empty space to offer up or suggest, head on over to the Gethard Show forums and do so. If you end up letting the show use your space, I'm sure you can negotiate to keep The Human Fish out if that's the biggest fear you have about the whole arrangement.
