Beloved British sitcom The IT Crowd is coming back for an extra-long finale episode after ending its run in 2010. Bleeding Cool reports that creator Graham Linehan announced at a Q&A in Germany that the 40-minute special is set to start filming in three weeks after two-plus years of pre-production and delays. The show ended its four season run in 2010 and was renewed for a fifth season, but the fifth season was never made and everyone involved has been talking about wrapping things up with a special finale for years now. Stars Chris O'Dowd, Richard Ayoade, Katherine Parkinson, and Matt Berry will all be returning for the last [...]

Steve Carell has been saying for over a year now that he doesn't have an interest in returning to The Office for the finale because he's happy with how he left his character. Showrunner/creator Greg Daniels said months ago that Carell wouldn't be back, but reports surfaced a couple weeks ago that the show's "producers mounted an 11th hour effort … to coax Carell into making a cameo." The mystery continued this week as Mindy Kaling refused to answer David Letterman's question about whether or not Carell would return.
Greg Daniels put these rumors to rest once and for all today in a conference call to [...]

Greg Daniels and the network declined to comment, while one of Carell's representatives said that, although he was on set, he didn't film anything. Despite that, a source on the show cryptically told TV Line, "Don't rule anything out." The finale airs May [...]

However, as speaking for a voice of a generation, what generation is that—overtly Anglo, upper-middle class, self-absorbed and self-critiqued with a pronounced gumption for entitlement coupled with at best, dubious work ethic…if so, then yes, she does speak for those folks.
Yes. That is exactly whom she speak for or as. Girls is a show that captures one of the worst parts of the current worst generation ever* and that [...]
