Louis C.K. Is Bringing His Black T-Shirt and Jeans to ‘SNL’ November 3rd

NBC announced this weekend that beloved comedian Louis C.K. will be hosting Saturday Night Live for the first time ever next Saturday, November 3rd, with musical guest Fun. It’ll be SNL’s last episode before this big election thing everyone’s been talking about, so C.K. seems like kind of an odd selection since he isn’t really much of a political comedian (or a sketch comedy actor, for that matter). Either way, it’s a bold, high-profile hosting pick that’ll make for a particularly exciting Election Week episode and a big comedy event to look forward to. Just don’t expect Louis C.K. to dress up fancy. He’ll probably just show up in [...]

Patton Oswalt Stood Still For Three Minutes on King of Queens

Would you like to see Patton Oswalt stand entirely motionless during a three-minute scene of King of Queens (on which he's a series regular, and presumably well-established enough to play around a bit)? Just standing there. Not moving. Not smiling or reacting to the scene in any way. Oh, yep, there he is again through the kitchen window at two minutes in. I kind of expected him to be in the next scene too, just standing there in the corner of Doug and Carrie's bedroom as they have sex. Every scene could be like a mini-game of Where's Patton? Double the entertainment!

Will Ferrell Can Teach Us How to Live

It's official: Will Ferrell is having the most fun of all the people, celebrities and non-specials alike. Shooting strange local commercials in Nebraska, announcing NBA team lineups with silly bios, and now reigning supreme over the Krewe of Bacchus parade in New Orleans, passing out beads and rocking the balls off that cowbell. Dude knows how to have a good time. Look out next week for a video of him giving out free pedicures in Times Square, probably.

Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake Teach The History Of Rap, Part 2

There's no denying the goofy exuberance of Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon's History Of Rap Part 2, but in my heart of hearts I kind of wish this was just a full-length performance of "Push It." Throw some matching black Spandex leggings and asymmetrical haircuts on these guys; you're telling me Spinderella doesn't have a couple hours to kill on a weekday evening? Get up on this.

SNL's Writing Staff Holds Swedish Pop Flashlight Raves Nightly

To honor last week's musical guest, SNL's Taran Killam, Abby Eliot, Vanessa Bayer, Bobby Moynihan, Sarah Schneider and Zach Kanin put on a little flashlight rave recreation of Robyn's Call Your Girlfriend video at 4:30AM on their writing night, and it is wonderful. Little known fact: in addition to popcorn, Lorne Michaels demands that there be glow sticks and mosh pits wherever he goes. They're just doing their jobs here, people.

Ricky Gervais Makes Fun of Louis CK in an Elevator

In this video by Opie from Opie and Anthony, Ricky Gervais makes fun of Louis CK for making a fool of himself in front of John Oates of Hall and Oates. If you need more information than that in order to get you to watch this video, I don't know what you're doing on this website.
