Martin Short and Paul McCartney Are Doing 'SNL's Christmas Show

Saturday Night Live has booked a couple of living entertainment legends for its Christmas show this year. TVLine reports that Martin Short will be hosting the December 15th episode, with Sir Paul McCartney serving as musical guest. Jamie Foxx and Ne-Yo were previously announced as the host/musical guest for the next new episode, which airs December 8th. This will be Martin Short's third time hosting the show (his last was in 1996) and Paul McCartney's fourth stint as musical guest (his last was in 2010). 'Bad Santa 2' Takes Another Drunken Step Forward

About this time last year, we reported that two different people were working on a sequel to Bad Santa. Well, now Accepted and Hot Tub Time Machine director/ High Fidelity screenwriter Steve Pink is in talks to rewrite one of those drafts, Johnny Rosenthal's to be specific, for him to direct. People have been talking about Bad Santa 2: Badder Santa since the original's release in 2003, so it would be great if they can get it made for the 10-year anniversary. 'Community' Has Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Episodes Coming Your Way This Spring

Community's return to NBC in February, four months later than the cast and crew had planned when making the first several episodes, will be causing some holiday-themed episodes to air long after we non-TV people celebrate said holidays. Joel McHale told Jimmy Kimmel last month that Community's "Halloween episode is gonna be awesome in February," but TV Guide reports that the show also has Thanksgiving and Christmas episodes in the can that'll also be airing way late. Exciting Things Are Happening for Jesse Thorn’s MaxFunDay Today

Today is MaxFunDay, the first ever one-day pledge drive for Jesse Thorn’s podcast network, Maximum Fun, which hosts a ton of amazing shows like Bullseye, Judge John Hodgman, Jordan, Jesse, Go!, Risk!, and more. Jesse Thorn and friends are participating in a Google Plus video chat all day and engaging in Reddit AMAs, with plenty of giveaways and other festivities planned.
