Larry David Is Almost Unrecognizable in His New HBO Movie

Here's the first official image from Larry David's new HBO movie Clear History, in which Larry David looks to be pretty much unrecognizable next to a normal-looking Jon Hamm. Entertainment Weekly has a teaser trailer and reports that the film, written by and starring David, will be premiering on HBO sometime this August. T.J. Miller and Thomas Middleditch Cast in Mike Judge's New HBO Show

Comedians T.J. Miller and Thomas Middleditch have been cast in Mike Judge's new HBO show Silicon Valley, Deadline reports. The series is co-created by Judge and his King of the Hill/Goode Family cohorts John Altschuler and Dave Krinsky, and Judge will direct the pilot. If the show makes it to past the pilot stage and to air, it will be the first project Mike Judge has released since the Jason Bateman movie Extract in 2009 (which also starred T.J. Miller). HBO Orders a Pilot from the Duplass Brothers

Mark and Jay Duplass just sold a pilot for a single-camera comedy to HBO called Togetherness, Deadline reports. The Duplass brothers, who have been behind movies like Jeff Who Lives at Home, Cyrus, and The Puffy Chair, will write, direct, and produce the series, which follows two couples living under the roof and trying to keep their relationships alive while pursuing their individual dreams. HBO Orders Mike Judge's Silicon Valley Comedy to Series

HBO has ordered a new show from King of the Hill and Office Space mastermind Mike Judge. Deadline reports that the pay cable network has given a series order to a comedy Judge co-created with John Altschuler and Dave Krisnky (King of the Hill, The Goode Family) that was previously titled Silicon Valley. The show follows a bunch of people working in the tech industry and stars an impressive ensemble of up-and-comers including T.J. Miller, Thomas Middleditch, Josh Brener, Lindsey Broad,Christopher Evan Welch, Amanda Crew, Angela Trimbur, Zach Woods, and Kumail Nanjiani. You Can Watch New Episodes of 'Girls' and 'Enlightened' Early on HBO Go Today

To avoid competing with the Super Bowl for ratings this Sunday, HBO has made the newest episode of its series Girls and Enlightened each available on its streaming service HBO Go right now. The episodes will also air on HBO early this Saturday (in additional to their normal Sunday timeslots) to avoid a Super Bowl scheduling conflict. Or you could just ask every one at your Super Bowl party to take a quick half-hour break from the big game to see what Lena Dunham and her friends are up to. Your call.

HBO Sets 'Girls' and 'Enlightened' Return Date; Confirms Larry David Movie

Last week we mentioned that Larry David's rumored movie might end up on HBO. Today HBO confirmed as much. Also announced is that Enlightened and Girls are set to return in January 2013. Hopefully by then Hannah has stopped eating cake on the beach.

Lena Dunham and Jenni Konner Are Developing a New HBO Show

Girls star/creator Lena Dunham and her co-showrunner Jenni Konner are teaming up again to create a new potential series for HBO, Deadline reports. It's a comedy based on Betty Halbreich, New York's preeminent personal shopper, who's spent decades shopping for and dressing rich and famous New York socialites as a personal shopper and dresser. Halbreich has worked with Joan Rivers, Meryl Streep, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Katie Couric, and helped to design the look for HBO's Sex and the City and Woody Allen's early films. HBO Officially Renews 'Girls' for a 12-Episode Third Season

HBO has officially renewed Lena Dunham's series Girls for a third season consisting of 12 episodes, expanding from the previous season orders of 10 each.
