Lena Dunham Is Seeking $1 Million for Her New Advice Book
Girls creator and star Lena Dunham is pitching her first book, tentatively titled Not That Kind of Girl: Advice by Lena Dunham, to publishers, and she’s starting the bidding at $1 million for the rights. Slate reports that the book will be a collection of personal essays on sex, relationships, friendships, work, traveling, and obsessing over death, and that in the intro, Dunham makes some self-deprecating jokes about whether her advice is worthwhile (even though she's asking for $1 million for it).
