It's Double Fakeout Fake Criterions Month; Let's Celebrate A Blaffair to Rememblack The Way It Was Meant To Be Celebrated

Over at the Fake Criterions tumblr, it's Double Fakeout Fake Criterions Month, which means you get to finally see the promo posters for your favorite fake movies, like Arrested Development's Les Cousins Dangereux and Tropic Thunder's Satan's Alley. All of the submissions are reader-created, so if anyone has the requisite Photoshop skills, please throw something together for Basic Analysis, "one woman's triumph over a yeast infection, set against the background of the tragic Buffalo Bill season of '91." It was Shannen's Doherty's finest work. Alternately, what other movie-with-a movie/TV show would you want to see on your wall?

BONG-BONG: Preview Community's Law & Order Episode

As John Mulaney would tell you (probably for hours, if you let him), Law & Order is ripe for comedy and on Thursday, Community is going to squeeze out all that comedy juice. Oddly enough, said juice tastes like iced tea (BOOM!!!!!). As you can see in the clip, Troy and Abed are investigating a backpack snatcher, which makes sense, considering Danny Pudi does kind of look like Jerry Orbach. My guess is they'll suspect Annie's Boobs at first until he's proven innocent but then it will be revealed it actually was him. I'm just happy, it's not a Law & Order: SVU parody because that shizzzzz would get [...]

New York Times: The Final Edition Hot Off The Internet Presses

Given the ever-hastening collapse of print media (or so the tubes of the Interweb have been whispering to me), some of the spoofs in Tony Hendra's New York Times Final Edition parody are unsettlingly plausible. Luckily the Spinal Tap star is joined by a motley crew of comedians and comedy writers, including Mike Myers, Peter Sagal of NPR's "Wait, Wait…Don't Tell Me" and Alex Blagg, as he sends up the Grey Lady. So we'll have something to look back on and chuckle about when we take our cyborg children to the Paper Museum.
