‘Parks and Rec’ Showrunner Michael Schur Is Handing Out Season 5 Spoilers Like Crazy

Entertainment Weekly just published a series of spoilers from Parks and Recreation’s showrunner Michael Schur, but with the names of the characters in said spoilers blanked out as an attempt at a “fun” guessing game, with a key at the bottom so you can decode the answers. Well, I have a firm anti-fun policy, so I’ve taken the liberty of cracking the code to Michael Schur’s spoilers for everyone who doesn’t want to waste their time on Entertainment Weekly’s silly games. Behold!:

1. “Ann has a personal breakthrough thanks to a cowboy hat, and some tough love from Leslie.” 2. “Champion the three-legged dog may be the only [...]

Jenna Fischer Confirms Second Office Baby Is On The Way

It looks like The Office cast is about to score one more sweet, babbling baby face next season (a friend for you, Kevin!),  as it's now confirmed that Pam and Jim's second baby arrives this fall. “Pam will be pregnant when the season starts,” Jenna Fischer reported to Vulture. “Pam and Jim snuck away last season on Valentine’s Day, and they had sex. After the child is born, he or she [...]

I wanted to tell a story of acquiring power and what it does to you. It's a little Macbeth or Scarface. Or maybe something from The Wire." Hell, Omar is already at Greendale. [...]

Twitter, Tumblr, and the Scourge of TV Comedy Spoilers

It’s about a quarter to ten on a Thursday and I’m sitting in front of my computer, doing the math.

“#ParksAndRecreation” is 19 characters, and those are a must. I’m trying to decide to how many other of the food terms Tom Haverford just made up I can fit into a single Twitter post. I go with “Food Rake” (Fork) and “Chickie-Chickie Parm-Parm” (obvious) and hit the opaque Tweet button. A few people Retweet it, in as much awe as I am at one of the funniest bits that the show has ever aired. Almost as quickly, though, come the not even passive, just plain old aggressive, posts from [...]
