Pete Holmes Has a New Album Out Next Month

Pete Holmes has a new stand-up album coming your way real soon. Called Nice Try, The Devil, the album drops May 14th and is available for pre-order now. Holmes, the host of the popular Nerdist podcast You Made It Weird, was recently made the host of a new TBS late night show, debuting this fall after Conan. Nice Try, The Devil is his second album after 2011's Impregnated with Wonder. The album cover (to the left) makes it feel almost like he purposefully chose one that Marc Maron would give him shit for.

LA Stand-up Show "Holy Fuck" Is Recording a Live Album with TJ Miller, Kyle Kinane, Eric Andre, and More

The popular, excellent Los Angeles stand-up show Holy Fuck just celebrated its third anniversary last year, and now they're releasing a live album that'll give non-L.A. residents a sense of what the show is. Over the next month, Holy Fuck will be recording four live shows entirely composed of comedians doing five minutes of their best material, with 42 comedians including Dana Gould, TJ Miller, Natasha Leggero, Kyle Kinane, and Eric Andre set to be recorded. The performances will then be edited into a 2 or 3-CD set released by Rooftop Comedy. T.J. Miller Was Performing Stand-Up on 'Conan' But Then This Happened

There was a time when a late night TV spot was the Holy Grail. Comedians would spend years, if not decades perfecting their "tight five." Last night, T.J. Miller did more of a tight two minutes and 40 seconds and then rubbed a sandwich ALL OVER his face. Carson might've asked him to couch just to ask, "Are you OK?" He isn't but that's kind of his thing.
