Here Are All the Pieces from Gallery 1988's 'SNL' Art Show

Gallery 1988, Katie Cromwell and Jensen Karp's LA-based pop culture art gallery, unveiled an SNL-themed art show this weekend, featuring over 80 pieces inspired from the show by various artists. The exhibit is open until April 20th and all of the art showcased in it is available for purchase online via Gallery 1988. Covering the show's entire history, from "Land Shark" to "Django Uncrossed," it's a fun look back at the SNL's more popular sketches. We've gathered all the pieces below, including the absurd amount of "Toonces, the Driving Cat" art the show features. Enjoy!

Tom Hanks Performs a Slam Poem about 'Full House' on 'Fallon'

What do you do when you have a back-to-back Oscar winner on your late night talk show? Ask him to perform a slam poem about Full House, of course. That's why I'm assuming this isn't Tom Hanks's slam poetry debut. It's just the first thing you'd think to have him do, and the guy's appeared on a lot of talk shows. Tom Hanks probably recited slam poems about Perfect Strangers or Mr. Belvedere on Arsenio in the early 90s. The footage just isn't online yet.

Inside the Judd Apatow Art Show

Gallery 1988 held a Judd Apatow tribute art show in Los Angeles last week, and here's a nice little mini-documentary about the event, which Seth Rogen, Martin Starr, and Apatow himself attended. It's a must-watch if you're dying to know who won a bidding war for a piece of Freaks and Geeks art between Judd Apatow and Martin Starr.

COCO MoCA Unveiled At Comic-Con

If you've ever dropped a note in the MoMA's suggestion box demanding "more Conan O'Brien, you philistines" then the newly-opened Museum of Conan Art (Coco MoCA) is the place to satiate your craving for fine pompadoured art. Open as of last night, MoCA showcases fan-art of Coco, in particular images of The Flaming C such as artist Nathan Sawaya's Lego interpretation of the oven-mitted crusader. MoCA is also currently taking submissions, if you can get your life-sized wood carving of Conan out of its wedding dress and into the mail without having a panic attack. With is a pretty big if.
